On Tuesday night November 20th (before Thanksgiving) Pastor John asked everyone in Direct Effect to write their own Psalm based on Psalm 138. Below are some of the results (we couldn't fit everyone's).

I will always love you for you will always love me
I will witness to people I can for you want me to
May they trust you for I do
May they spend eternity with you for you will always know them
Though people don’t know you are there you are
Though they think you don’t see them do something wrong you are there watching
Lord, you love us a lot, sometimes we think you don’t, but you will always love us and be there for us

I will praise my God for He created me
I will worship him for he is my King
May He always be with me when I’m in trouble                 
May He always be with me when I’m scared
Though I’m not perfect God still loves me
Though I sin God still loves me
He’s always with me in all I do.

Though I know I often fail you I also know you are forgiving and will forget that sin the moment I ask
Though many people doubt you your grace will shine in their darkest hour
May boys and girls, men and women live to love you
