MIDDLE SCHOOL - 6TH, 7TH & 8TH GRADES
|
| |
 |
DIRECT EFFECT - Tuesday Night 7:00-8:30 p.m.
(option group starts @ 6:30) |
| |
|
Mid-week program designed
to reach out to all middle school students, especially
those who do not go to church. Teams compete in fun,
high-energy games before learning about God during our
"God Time." Optional small group time is a great way
for students who are serious about God to get more
involved by connecting with a leader who cares about them. |

JR. HIGH CELEBRATION - Sunday
Morning @ 8:00 a.m.
|
|
| |
|
Students learn and grow in their Christian lives!
Each week includes a time of singing and worship, great
Bible study, powerful prayer times, caring friends and
loads of fun. As students grow in their
understanding of God's Word, they will also get to know
God in a personal way and see how their lives can be
changed by knowing Him. |
 |
| |
|
REALITY - February through June |
|
| |
|
Reality is for 8th grade students only. Our goal is
to help 8th graders become real with God and real with
each other (obeying the two greatest commandments given to
us by Jesus in Matthew 22:34-40). This is a
committed group and an application is required. |
 |
|
HIGH SCHOOL - 9TH THROUGH 12TH GRADES
|
| |
 |
THE EDGE - Wednesday Night
7:00-8:45 p.m. |
|
| |
|
High
school students come together to learn what it means to
live life on the cutting edge! Students get together
to make a difference in their lives and in the world
(usually in incredibly fun and creative ways).
Students have a band that plays once a month, leading us
in worship. |

HIGH SCHOOL CELEBRATION - Sunday
Morning @ 11:00 a.m. |
| |
|
For students who want to raise their
level of commitment to God. During this time we take
a serious look at God's Word and what it means to us
today. |
 |
| |
 |
C.O.R.E. |
|
| |
|
Focuses on four areas:
COMMIT (to God first and then one another), OBEY
(God, demonstrating your love to Him through your
actions), REACH (out to others), and ENCOURAGE
(others through your words and actions). This is a
committed group and an application is required. |

STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM |
|
| |
|
While there are many high school
students effectively involved in ministry here at Palm
Canyon, the Leadership Team's goal is to identify a
smaller group of those whose potential is far-reaching and
develop those students to build the Kingdom of God through
their gifts and talents. |

ONE-ON-ONE DISCIPLESHIP |
|
| |
|
Discipleship is a word that
describes the process used by Jesus with His disciples to
teach them how to have a relationship with God. In
our Student Ministries, we believe in doing discipleship
one-on-one so that students can get as much out of it as
possible. "Discipleship I" and "Discipleship II"
will help students understand what it means to be a
Christian, how to know they are a Christian, and how to
grow as a Christian. |

HEART MATTERS - Psalm 119:11 |
|
| |
|
Composed of six volumes; each filled
with five Bible verses for students to memorize, and also
a Bible study for each verse so they know what they are
memorizing. This becomes another way for students to
spend time with God and learn from His Word, while setting
their own schedule. |
